Not sure if this the right place for reporting bugs. My character, Parn, was able to complete the speed skill minigame (running to Pachua) in less than 210 seconds without dying or cheating, and talked to Pachua. Pachua blew his smoke signal and I headed back to Miriam to get the skill.
However, upon reaching her I found I was unable to talk to her or any other NPC. After restarting TMW I was again able to talk to NPCs. Went to Miriam, and she exclaimed that I only needed -86267 seconds to reach Pachua. And then it said I received the skill (the skill menu still lists everything as "mystery skill" so I have no idea if I got it or not).

Re: Speed skill quest bug
Parn, did you by chance start the quest just before midnight on 22 June server time and finish it on 23 June? That could explain why you were given (24 hours minus 133 seconds) to run. If so, it would be an interesting edge case.Parn wrote:My character, Parn, was able to complete the speed skill minigame (running to Pachua) in less than 210 seconds without dying or cheating....

You might wish to upgrade your client. Read http://www.themanaworld.org/downloads.php and follow the instructions to add the PPA of Tomas Kovacik.

Re: Speed skill quest bug
frost, That would explain the negative value, since the quest uses gettimetick(1), which returns the number of seconds since 00:00
In any case, I already pushed to the test repo the change to gettimetick(2), so I guess it won't happen again.
Parn, try focusing the skill with Luca. If everything is ok, you should be able to see it in the list of skills in this npc. Thanks for reporting this issue.
