Then we need some dye now. And some black spots. AND some eyes.

TRGN I made the mouboo dye-able but now I need your help
do what you did here: viewtopic.php?p=147540#p147540
but do not put all on the same layer.

Let me explain:
1 - Use the mouboo sprite as the base layer
2 - create an empty (transparent) layer for the eyes
3 - draw the eyes on the layer you created (it should be on top of the base layer)
4 - remove the base layer so that only the eyes remain

and then post the file on this thread

First of all, please STOP spamming my inbox.
I will try your sprite on the (dyed) mouboo to see what it looks like.

You made the dyable mouboo for that and i made the spots+eyes, also the antlers are included here somewhere. So, it's almost done.

The dyeable mouboo doesn't look fine using 1 dye channel because there's two color ramps for different palletes (body and ears). You should use two channels:
Image
To reproduce the demonic mouboo (bear and red eyes) these files as monster accesories:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/364 ... c-face.png
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/364 ... c-face.xml
And for the color palletes, the following codes should work:
Image

Code: Select all

Mouboo:
B:#4d4648,55251a,823f3b,6e4634,904f42,9e5e49,b37259,c37f63,c37f64,d38c6e,dc9b7a,e6aa86;R:#4e2e1c,8e5e4b,ae7662,c3907a,d7aa91
Demonic Mouboo:
B:#47205a,484571,5d6da2,6d80bc,849ae3;R:#47205a,47205a,484571,5d6da2,6d80bc,849ae3
BTW, I don´t like the idea of reuse monster graphics. it's a good exercise to start on develop but doesnt produce much quality and originality at all. Add particles and crazy stuff may help but it's the same monster in the viewers eyes.
I like the skytlurk idea, but dont like the current art because it seems like made with 25 random clicks on a graphic editor. It needs more love in the graphics, more details to make it a unique monster and not a cheap copy.
