I agree with Crush, way too easy. If you're too lazy to travel on foot you'd better at least pay for it.
So when it comes to respawning I'd say either a savepoint system or last visited town. Maybe... if we'll have inns in the wild, like in SoM we could do the closest town/inn. If we'd do closest town as it is now it's too abuse friendly I think.

Well that is nothing bad in the same area (eg woodland) but a train from desert to woodland would be cool :>

So that you would need a "woodland-train-card" to travel from desert to woodland, you can buy the card in woodland then. (or quest, blehbleh thingies, untradeable)

excelent idea, a train ^.^ that will be much funny! but i think that nedd to be a "Train Card" that the future mini-boss of the ice can drops!

The main thing we're talking about here is where does one respawn and how is it determined.
Teleportation and other ways of passive transport have been discussed >here<. If you want to talk about that, just revive the thread.

it is pretty annoying to have to walk all the way back to where you were when you died, but i think its kind of the fun of it. like when your going to bat cave, or ice world, the place you pass with all the black scorpions and snakes, its kind of fun dodging them all. :)
