Hi, i will give yours some tips i think about one good game, and tmw it's a great promisse in the open source mmorps.

* Animated Emoticons.
* Rework the Equipment window, to like more or less with the Diablo Style.
* Break the lines of chat above heads.
* show a balloon in the chat above heads.
* Make Groups
* Magic System
* Char walk to the target before he attacks
* Better velocity of char ( not too fast )
* Separate Npcs in files and not one sheet
* Mobs skills ( with suport of magic System )
* Some mobs talk ( humanoid types )
* Class System
* Drag and Drop System
* When put the mouse over a item in inventory or trade/sell/buy windows, an little window with image and description of item will appear.
* Better Mobs AI
* Work together with the Tiled team, and put new possibilites like to put NPCs, scripts, and mobs in maps by the interface of editor.
* Or work in TILED src to make a proper Map editor only for TMW, removing unused things and add important things to TMW.
* Patent System ( the Class don't evolve, he pass to another Patent ) like Swordman -> Swordman Chief > Swordman Master
* Buddy List
* Internal mail system
* Visible Teleport places ( like Ragnarok )
* Apartment System ( one place only for the player and your friends )
* Guild Places ( with missions, teleports, etc, like Fable )
* All itens appear in char ( Head, torso, legs, bots, weapons and cape )
* Slash movement for one and two hand weapons

I Know many things here only can implemented in the 0.1.0 release, or never implemented, but it's only tips and ideas.

Thanks for the attention

Most of that is currently in development http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?t=2461

* Class System (TMW is not going to use a class System, but peoples builds are probably going to be specialized into certain areas. Lets say you make a mage/swordsman you can attack head on and use magic to support yourself, but you’ll never be as powerful at sword play or magic as someone who goes pure)
* Buddy List ( http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?t=343 )

Most of the more cosmetic stuff will not be seen till after the new server, or thats my understanding of it.

So like you said, wait till the 0.1.0 release
