Health Potion

Hi

I was thinking of a new potion called a Health Potion or a HP potion for
short.The potion would have two good feature which are: (1) It would allow the drinker to regain all his HP. (2) It would also allow the drinker to be healthy for 25 seconds even if a monster attacks him he wouldn't receive any damage what so ever.But as with everything it has a downside.In order to use the potion to work you must spend 15 MP for the drinker to use it and the other downside is you must be a lvl 35 player or higher to consume the potion.(3) It is very rare to find.I have not thought of a way where you would find such an item, but I think it would be an interesting potion.

Alas, this is only a suggestion that I have thought of by playing The
Mana World. So, my hopes aren't too high, but it would be nice to hear other opinions.

I don't know about the can't take damage for 25 seconds idea. Then they could just keep using them if they are "rich" and never die.

How about half damage for 25 seconds instead (non cumulative)? It's a similar effect, but doesn't allow nearly as much abuse.

Maybe the downside of such an Invulnerability Potion could be that you have to rest afterwards for the double time; if you don't rest, you get the damage * 3.

Something like that could give you a short "boost" for attacking a fierce monster, but you have to be sure that you can kill it in that time (and that no other monsters will come up afterwards that will disturb your rest). For people who love to take risks, this could be interesting.

Can be a matter of luck, if you take the potion you can die or heal and be invulnerable for a while :twisted:

Perfect invulnerability is always a big balancing problem.

I had a reason for conceptualizing the elemental resistance system for the new server so that complete immunity is impossible.

Thank you and I think you are right it should be 15 seconds.
And I also love the other idea of only a matter of luck which feature
you would get.

Dear Hommer,

This potion is not available at a store.
I was thinking you've have to kill a monster of some kind to get the
HP potion.For example empty bottles there is a 1 and a 2000 chance
a flower would drop one.So to kill a flower you have to be a lvl 40
player but it depends.So, I was thinking to pick one of the monsters
programmed in the game to drop a HP potion.But, I don't know
how rare a HP potion is to a player than a empty bottle.I guess it
depends on how much chance you have of getting the item.

Still think about when pvp is implemented. Anything that allows you complete invulnerability for any time is unfair.

We already have alot of healing items such as food.
