Feature suggestion

I think that the game is in need of 3 important features:

The first one is a friend list, so you can add you friends.

The next one is a in-game clan/group list

And the last one is a “Chat sorting out” system, so you can chose what you want to see in your chat box, for example:

x Friends
x System Announcement
x Clan/Group
x Open Chat

In the example above I chose them all to be on, but for example when I am at a meeting with my Clan, and I don't want the other person to see what I am writing, and I don't want his text messages to interfere with my message and the other messages from the meeting, then I can just turn the open chat off and write via the “Clan/Group” channel.

So I can chose to show any of the 4 categories or disable them in my chat-box, and I can chose to write to “Open Chat” , “Friends” or “Clan/Group”. (each categories should have a special colour)

Trapdoor also merged his current work at the guild system into the trunk version, but it is not in a usable state yet.
There will be personal channels or guild channels
x Friends (I'm almost certain this is in the works)
System Announcement and Open Chat (probably)

In the new client (0.1) there is a General Tab, this is for general chat, then you can create your own unique channels that other people can join (using /join), and then there will be guild channels which you automatically join when you create or join a guild.

Next on my list is adding party support, there will be a special party channel you automatically join when you create or join a party.

After that I will take requests/suggestions on other chat features.

How about a new item: Communications Orb or something. Must be equipped and after that, you can see what the other players are typing in the chat window. Provided they have the item equipped, and currently locked onto a particular channel or...ummm...Mana Frequency or some magical term.
