Well, it is very difficult to understand someone via an online translator, so I propose that we use the following topic tags for languages so that people can actually get the help that they require and understand it.

[en]- English
[es]- Español
[de]- Deutsch
[fr]- Français

You get the idea. If you have a tag you would like to add, please post it below.

And what do we do when we have no GM who speaks the language?

People can not expect the game masters to understand every language. A "learn english or you are screwed" policy on the official server might be hard but it is the only reasonable approach in my opinion.

People who don't speak english are free to create their own server. The software and contents are freely available and server administrators could even port characters to their servers based on screenshots.

Well, I was referring to the support/bug reports area of the forum in general. I noticed that a lot of people never get help because either their English is horrible, or they used a translator. I know that the GMs can't speak every language, but you don't need to be a GM to give support.

We talked about this a thousand times: No non-english posts on the official forum because we don't know what people are talking about and thus can not interfere when they break the forum rules or even do illegal activities. This is also a legal problem. I created a topic in "Player Talk" with links to TMW forums in other languages. I know there isn't much happening in there but when the non-english TMW players can't manage to organize themself properly it is not our fault.

Yes, but the major languages that exist in this forum's contributors and moderators could be easily monitored (Dutch, German, Polish, etc), and would only exist in the support and abuse forums.
