i wonder bout the method of the moderators here. seems, some posts and threads are just without any statement been deleted or hidden, even if there was no obvious reason for it. why's that?

problably because they are useless posts then.

A lot of posts have been deleted for a lot of reasons lately. Give a specific example and the person who deleted it will explain you why it was deleted.

okay, example:

meways topic about the brown-nosing

Are you talking about the post where lamb kept calling meway a brown noser? They told you those were deleted because those posts were insulting.

the whole topic was deleted it seems. uh, truth can be so insulting..

Yes indeed, the truth can be overwhelming and insulting. Sometimes the truth hurts.

If you talk offtopic in the developmental sections, your posts will be cleaned up to keep the development forums clean. I'm especially strict about the gfx section.

The case to which you're referring to:

First it started out as pixel art in gfx, then it became conceptual talk about the usage of the unfinished piece without any further pixel development in sight -> moved to general development and finally it became mudflinging without any purpose at all and nothing was achieved, so it was just simply swept under the carpet.

If you constantly get moderated on the development sections: consider staying out of them.

i understand you until this point. if i were a moderator, i would move the topic to the section player talk or off topic. for me, the topic made sense until its last post. sure, not for development, but for community.

How? Oh yeah, a whole topic about how you feel badly about someone who has done nothing to you?

if the topic makes no sense to you, you dont have to participate at all. bye.

please tell me then how to tell someone the truth without hurting? yeah, i guess your answer would be: not telling the truth at all.
