Proposels, i missed dev. meeting.

i had compiled some information i was going to address in the dev meeting, but over confusion i missed it.

These are compiled suggestions that come from we ( the players ) .

1. have a stronger monster than black scorp.. that drops a rare item not found in store's. Which would be stronger than what you can buy in stores at this point in time. This will help create an economy.

2. monster experience is too uneven. - revise whole system of experience
Suggestion, 1. giant maggots hit too hard, lower hit to 20 max.


3. all monsters shouldnt move diagnally.
answer, 1.beginner monsters should move up, down , and accross. Stronger monsters however could use the diagnal move to make the killing trickier.

4. the dagger is no match for the short-bow.
answer, 1. a short sword could be implemented as a rare drop from a new creature. The short sword will be more even with the shortbow.

5. Players feel 'alone' , need a global chat, and private chat.
answer, 1. you could make the different chats eaither different colors to symbolize the
types of messages, or in tab form.

1 and 4: Make sure ElvenProgrammer gets you a stronger monster (think snake) that drops short sword (snakes very rarely eat one of those).

2: Ask him also to do something about experience, especially to take some exp off the green slime.

3: Impossible I think. Also I don't think this is very interesting to add as it comes as rather unrealistic to me.

5: Planned for later.

1. As soon as we have more monster graphics we will add more monsters, soon there will be snakes and spiders and fire goblins and something else and they will be harder probably

2. Yeah it's hard to balance it, that's why we need suggestions, give more of them, we will test them and see if they're reasonable

3. I can't agree on this, they move wherever they want why they shouldn't?

4. You're right, that's why we will try to add a short sword in the next release

i agree .. would be nice to have a new monster for next release

i totally disagree... wou should better have an additional monster which is not at stong as the giant maggot (well actually we already got the slime)

we will have some more weapons in future anyway

i acutally like the idea of tabbing :) that would be nice... but i dun know about global chat... later when we have ~500 players it could be odd

Global chat would save my life, i like to chat and it helps when exp'ing so i dont get so bored. :D

We will be adding stronge monsters and more things as the versions progress.

The idea about the global system would be nice. Tabs could be used to switch from window to window that way you dont get it confused from talk/whispers and global. Also a system window would be nice in wich you can see things like:

You moved to this area
So and so have been kicked

Also a admin global message would be nice so when admins say something it appears to all the players. Just some more fun stuff for admins ^^ :P

We already have the admin global messaging, default eathena behaviour.

Seeing that the bow IS a far ranged weapon, i lowerd its attack because you can attack from a distance, making the monster to take some time to catch up to you, also u can run from them too :o

AND partly becase your Dexterity is low, DEX raises ranged damage u kno -_-

STR- Melee wpn
DEX- Ranged wpn
