Better late than never, I guess ...
Anyhow, I had an idea for an April Fools event. Pick a map (or make a new one) that's sort-of maze like that's kinda hard to get around. Like a forest maze or a series of caves. Set up a money sink to collect money to put signposts up throughout the map to help players get through the map. Then next April Fools have random signs be turned in opposite directions by a practical joker NPC and have some of the nearby NPC's mention that fact.
