I like the theif mask...
But i would like it more if it was something like the mask that only crosses the eyes. lol
like you see in some really oldbad guy movies

And the komono

I want it -.-

Don't use pure black or pure white. And you still have to shade them.

Shade near eyes?

No, you have to shade everything te emphasize the three-dimensional shape. Here is a good shading tutorial:

(note that the general light direction in TMW is from the opposite direction as the one used in the tutorial)
