Train monsters to be mounts or pets

It would add great depth and interest to the game if players were able to train the larger monsters as mounts. Right now I could especially see the Giant Maggot, and the Mouboo as mounts.

Depending on the strength of the monster, only players of a certain level could train it as a mount. For example, you would have to be say level 30 to train a Giant Maggot mount, and level 60 to train a Mouboo mount.

These mounts would not only increase defense for the the mounted player, but they would also aid in attack. Faster monsters could help the player move around the game world faster.

The mounts would be injured by other monsters they attack or that attack the mount and its rider. Mounts could also gain experience from fighting, so that they turned into a “strong giant maggot” or a “strong mouboo.” A special quest could be created so that you could get armor for your mount.

Needless to say mounts would also get injured during battles, and would die, proving to be an expensive loss.

Also, while we are on the subject of trained monsters aiding in battle I think that pets would be another great way to add life to the game. Imagine if you were able to train 20 grass snakes as pets and take them with you into the cave before the jackos for an ultimate fight. These pets would aid you by fighting whatever you were fighting or whatever had attacked you. In turn, their kills could possibly count toward your experience. Needless to say these pets would be very expensive, and they would die just like real monsters.

Both mounts and pets would be a great way to fix inflation problems, because they would burn up a lot of money. Mounts would be expensive to train and armor, and if they died that money would be lost. The same thing would be true of pets.

Ah,

Well it might be a good long term goal. Pets would be much easier to implement, though.
