Health Bars

Post by Alturis »

Health bars should be added to all Players and monsters. It would be helpful to be able to see if your friend fighting with you is getting low on health. Monsters could also use health bars.

I'm sure it's planned but thought I would bring it up. :o

Well my idea is to have health bars for players in your party, I'm not sure about monsters though.

Maybe we could have some sort of status indicator for monsters... like "healthy" (>80%) "wounded" (30-80%) and "critical" (<30%).
Then you would have some idea how close you are to killing it.

Just an idea.

But then so would everyone else. And they could wait for it to be low enough, kill it with one hit and get all the exp.

No they couldn't (get all the exp), our system isn't that stupid. It wouldn't give them any advantage.
We had a long discussion about that not so long ago.

It's depend on how many damage do you did on the monster. (I think so...)

I think so to.

Yes, the exp is given when the monster is killed. But the share is determined by the amount of damage dealt by each player.

So even if someone would run from a monster he'd almost killed and someone else would go and give it a final blow... the first guy would still get most exp.
