The fusion is a good idea that has come about nicely. We knew there would be objections and I do sympathize. We also knew that some users would leave the game for a while, but those people will come back, because the game is becoming better with care. So please bear with us.

I was against the fusion. It was a logical outcome of the excellence of Aurora 1 project and the lively community of TMW.
So it was said "We made landfall", joining a sea adventure with the towns and dungeons of the parent project.

Where are the users saying "thank you"? The volunteers never asked to be thanked.
For those who play, the game world shall aim to be fun and interesting.
For those who develop, the repositories have many treasures. Nothing prevents going back to the land bridge and the fun of journey on foot.
Development has become a lot more perplexing than it use to be. Acclimation requires a great work of patience and study.

And finally, for those who troll, the forums are an excellent source of dramatic performances of star raising theatricality worthy of all around applause and critical acclaim.

I miss being able to go outside and get fresh air without fear of being mugged or shot.
I miss climbing trees with my cats.
I miss watching the news at a time when there wasn't a daily school shooting, daily terrorist attacks, daily street shootings, rampant injustice.
I miss the days when I could talk to a friend over Instant Messenger using OTR.
I miss the days when people had real general purpose personal computers instead of dumbed-down consumer-model "phones".

I miss the days when you were kids who liked cartoons or had a future to plan for.
I miss those days when it was less bleak.

Consider that, and that TMW is in no different a world than we are.
