Help with JunOS

Post by Syzlack »

I don't know if this the right category/topic, but I'm looking for a JUNOS simulator as I'm planning to study for the JNCIA and don't want to spend some cash on a sh*tty simulator that I saw the web. So if someone is willing to share a junos simulator will be highly appreaciated.

Regards,
Syzlack

PS/ I tried to run JunOS olive on a virtual box and didn't work for me.

Olive is the only JunOS emulator I've heard about, and that includes after-work chats with Juniper field techs.

I've been considering a home lab for this. Maybe this will get me to try setting up Olive finally, and we can talk. :)

Thanks for the response Frost. Well I just got text by coworker who told me that he managed to run olive, also about the other junos simulator there is another simulator from certExams, that cost around 40 bucks, but is not the same thing as having the real IOS emulated. I Also tried to run this on GNS and didn't work for me. So if you manged to get yourself at setup at home let me know :alt-6:
