I just made a treasure map for a childrens birthday, using a satellite view screenshot, was quite some fun and I wanted to share with you: Here is the model: I hope the kids will have fun finding it!

Nice idea! The X is quite hard to spot though. If you want to be spotted easily you may want to make it thicker, but I also can imagine you want to make it hard to spot, it's a treasure map after all! Hope the kids will have fun finding it

They werent able to read the map (they were 4 - 6 so I think its ok), but they found the treasure, and they found the wolvern

This is actually a fantastic idea. You can probably repeat this when they get a bit older and teach them how to read the map on their own.
