I downloaded Manaplus from the Google play store a few weeks ago and have found that when trying to chat in game the spacebar does not work ?? I am on a 10' Android tablet with only the pop-up keyboard no external . It's.really.frustrating.having.to.type.like.this!
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Try use other keyboard application.
Also issue can be related to keyboard extender apps, not remember how this apps named.
In stock keyboard it should works. Tested on some 4.x and 5.x devices.
