what do you think about this version instead?
Why not doing the mask on this way? this one is so much better than others.

Make new topic for skirt please, to who ever will be working on it.

If it follows all guidelines requirements such as the limited 32x32 size. Also this would require an xml and a point for implementing.

var, please do make a mask only image and I'll add it to the sprite set as front and dead frame rotated 90 degrees...and write the xml file.
I really like what you did here, taking a very well known earth image and really adding tmw flavor and feeling.
I feel like it belongs now.

Don't forget to create a thread for the egyptian skirt it's very nice.
I look forward to seeing more of your pixel art. =]

1) A pixelart don't write XML technically.
2) NEVER turn a frame of 90° to do the death frame, shading isn't the same, and it need a different look too.

? not sure what your getting at...xml file for hat is easy..I did snow googles and heart glasses xml.
also shading is a small change.

I would just do it but at this point idc.

shading is really easy to do on 90° turn of a frame(seeing as how the light always comes from the upper left) imo...salmondine & var seem to have this under control and know what they are doing..
im here if my help is needed (imo its not )...
i really want to see how it looks when done  ...great job so far..

I like it like that. However, could you please fix the top of the snake's head on the top of the mask because it is a bit in a V style.

I think both should be added.

I am still working on the first image to fix the side frames where the snake head is too tall.
I think the screen shots show this very well.

The second on has the same problem. the snake head is too tall...was my primary dislike even in the very first posting
I'll fix that one too.

so not done just yet.
I have no problem with 2 versions but the second will need the same kind of fix I am giving the first sprite set =]

thats why I have not marked this thread as finished if you were wondering.
it can be just a little better.
