Hi,

Nice to see some progress on that point. Thanks Wombat! :)

And now, what about the walls?

Best regards.

I've been working on modifying the set even more. I'm still working on stuff even if I don't post any progress or are around much.

Latest concept based off Len's Desert.

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. Has anybody seen this princess I'm looking for?

No feedback on the direction?

Allow me to criticise my own work:

The walls don't work with the hi-res road from len but the other road contenders don't fit with the sand.
I've ditched the other desert road. Still haven't done much with this set but I think since everyone seems alright with Len's sand I will keep ahead with this one as is.

I was working on a cliff concept for the desert back in the day, that I was planning to adapt for WOA. But seeing as how WOA is pretty much dead, I guess I can make them for TMW. However I don't think It fits in with TMW's style (also I made it before I started to limit my color pallet)

Hi,

I'd be so glad when Len would:
1. Keep on WoA,
2. upgrade TMW graphics with better ones.
3. Handle graphics for the CR1 project.

There are many similar projects here, maybe CR1 can become WoA, or vice versa?

Anyway, I like the cliffs style.

Best regards.

Wow. I like those cliffs. I haven't taken a detailed look at them but I assume that they tile vertically. They would fit the sand well.
I would suggest finishing them even if we don't use them in TMW. They would still be nice in WoA.

I'm going with highcolor tile-sets in my fork and they would fit there. I'm struggling with my own woodland cliffs atm so I've been going around looking at cliffs in other games. Wish I could get a screen shot of Mt. Ordeals in the FFiC Complete collection that showed more of the cliffs. They did some really nice 32x32 tiles in that game. It took me by surprised that they used 32x32 tiles I thought most if not all commercial tilesets in games used 16x16 tiles.
If anything I would finish them because they look really nice.

While these cliffs are sure awesome, keep in mind that their level of quality is so high that they will scare away every pixel artist except len. You have to be aware that when you lift the quality to a level only one person can work on, noone else will be able to maintain the tileset. This will effectively deadlock the further development of the tileset when len isn't available.

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.

You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Or other people may accept challenge and try to copy this style.

Maybe, but I think it would be nice if we reduced the color pallet and had a little help from len to build this in an 8 directional tile-set.

I'll continue working on the cliffs and playing around with ideas, even if TMW ultimately doesn't use them.
