So there is no choice.
I would propose a choice based on my Might&Magic 7 gaming experience - the storyline is exactly about a choice between Light and Dark side.

Of course, there is some "translation" needed when importing things from one universe to another, but i think it should not be too complicated. M&M 7 party can be very well - for example - translated to TMW party, giving it much more sense and interest in the same time, because of healing effects or hit points sharing (Mardek RPG) affecting whole party, *hireling can be translated to any creature Sagatha like, and bad reputation can cause the same effect as in M&M 7 - the good NPCs stop talking with you.
