i would like to know what mmorpgs you have played beside tmw.

i played (in alphabetic order):

darkspace (more strategy than rpg) *
horizons - empires of istaria *
kal online
lineage 2
maple story (more jump 'n' run with rpg elements than a classical rpg)
ragnarok online *

runescape
saga of ryzom
world of warcraft *

There's also one called second-life. I know someone who plays it and says it's pretty free in what you can do. It's paid though.

In chronological order:
- Ragnarok Online Beta
- Saga of Ryzom Beta
- The Mana World
- and tried out Illutia (damn did it suck)
- Anarchy Online (it's free until 17th of Febuari 2007, or something like that)
...that's about it I think.

"real life", sounds interesting... think i need to borrow someone's copy some day

my list:
-graal online (waaay back before it went commercial. i remember it being nothing more than a zelda clone in java... it was fun until they went hires and started adding butt-ugly sprites)
lineage 2 (open beta. bad game, even when free)
and that's all. most of todays stuff isnt really appealing to me anyways, what with all the unnecessary 3d and all (who needs 3d when the actual gameplay stays 2d?)
i'd try ultima, but i hear nowadays you dont have any chance there as a noob...

Actually, a friend convinced me to sign up for that. I never managed to play it, because of my school's firewall, but it looks really cool. It's only a one-time payment ($10), unless you buy land in-game (and sometimes they let you sign up for free, like they did with me).[/i]

always fun, sooo madly in love with lurikeens, tho in the long run i always got killed or was rpging myself as the new tyrant which no one ever seemded to aknowledge tho i ahd a few followers for a month or so and then i stoped to try ...

Asherons Call 3
was it ? Dont remember if it was 2 or 3... had beta some time before ...

Line Age 2
which btw was soooo booooring

Me forgot Ragnarok Online

ok there it is

tho that game i have played a bit every now and then

then came one year of my life ...

Project Entropia (I think that was the name... I only played for a few days because of boredom)

Fung Wan Online^ (now named Storm Riders Online or something... It was based off a chinese comic book I think)
