It's getting closer but:

The door shouldn't have the exact-pixel width border.
The roof still needs to sag with gravity.

And perhaps the colors are wrong for the walls - I think there's too much contrast, and it seems bluer ...

Random thought: in cold weather you don't have open doors ...

Starting to get really good meway! I would add a leather / yeti skin as a door.

Keep the good work!

I borrowed the stack from this image http://forums.themanaworld.org/download ... hp?id=8813 found in this thread http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopi ... 8&start=15 ed my own

I created my own stack directly below the one I edited but I used the palette.
I added salmondines changes to the bones.
Added more texture

Are they going to be houses (not moveable), or tents (moveable)?

Both is needed. In the village itself there are some not moveable housings, I imagine some kind of hut made out of the material they can find, maybe a stabilized and bigger version of the tents. I think those should have some possibility to let smoke out of the building while still providing shelter against the weather , since it's reasonable to have fireplaces in such housings.
The tent is planned to be used at least with the three barbarians on 033-1. Beside of that I imagine the hunters of the tribe to use tents on hunting trips in the mountains that take more than one tday.

The current Barbarian NPC's were dressed in almost next to nothing, and as they live in a winter land, it would look odd, unless Nivalis has a leisure centre with a swimming pool of course. So I have attempted at clothing them, with a wardrobe that would most probably be not appealing to Gok Wan...:P When was the last time you wore a yeti skin cape?

I have always thought Barbarians would have lived in a jungle type setting.

Barbarian is a derogatory ethnocentric blanket term, however most people think of Celtic people (but that's hard for me to contemplate based on their artifacts)

Historically, the term "Barbarian" stems from the roman empire, where it was the term used for people who were not part of the empire, down from the Africans up to the Celts.
