I want to know if when I get my class, i can reset my stats...
Its true that we can only be novices yet?
I want to be a Healer...I must put points on Int?
there is just one class (soulless) and that class has only passive combat related skills. when you want to heal other players you got to wait until the tmw server is finished. and that may take a wnile.

the new system will be a classless and levelless learning by doing system. that basically means that you can become whatever you want.

Like Combat_skills + Fire_Magic_skills = Red Battlemage. Just a rough example.
Well, if the game does not assign names to these classes, players will. I'm thinking of Diablo II's Paladin builds: "hammerdin", for instance.
and those neologismsm that destroy the athmosphere in every popular mmorpg is what i am afraid of. But i don't think that we can stop the players from developing the usual mmorpg slang anyway.

I personally think Dungeon Siege (the first one) implemented it rather well.
The game gives you class title based on the skill level you gained.
When you start levelling your other skill(s), the title will change.
I don't remember the titles they give, but it works roughly like this:
You've been killing a lot of monsters with melee weapon, your melee skill level is 10, your level title is Fighter.
You keep using your melee weapon, your melee skill is level 20, your title is Warrior.
You decide to use magic, your melee skill stays at lvl 20, but you increase your magic skill to 10, your title is now [insert a good title for Warrior/Mage here]
I think it's better if someone asks "So what kind of character are you," you can tell him/her "I'm a red battlemage" instead of "I've can fight with swords and cast fire magic".
