I've started on the house tiles for the savannah region:
Small reminder:

Ofcourse it's still a work-in-progress. Just showing.

Modanung, I like this one a lot, anyway I was preferring the color choice in the concept I'll be waiting to see how does it turn out.

it obviously needs much more detail and texture. But it is a good start.

Well yea... it's just the outline with some colours to not show the grass underneath it.Crush wrote:it obviously needs much more detail and texture. But it is a good start.

Small update in the first post.
And this combination is also meant to be possible for up corridors. Ofcourse not with a round back. I'll kill the seam later.
Still working on it.

Thanks.Crush wrote:Wow that roof looks great. How did you make it?
I started with the outline and base colour you saw. Then I first took a darker variant of that colour and started drawing lines in the direction of the roof with a pencil with (i think) 20% opacity. 'Incremental' turned on.
Ofcourse in the Gimp using my Wacom Graphire 3.
And then I did about the same thing with a brighter colour.
