isometric server

I'm aware that isometric tiles can be used in Tiled, but can that actually be translated into gameplay using Mana? Or is that just a secondary use for Tiled, say if someone wanted to use it for another game?

That would be pretty awesome.

The server itself is oblivious to how tiles are oriented - in fact, TMW is flipped vertically from eAthena, which has led to some really confusing comments.

Damn, I was thinking about making some pre-rendered or tiled assets as I need to create some models for my demo reel anyways. I thought that I might as well make a project out of it, as I seem to be way more focused and interested when I do. It would be nice If I could do so with something that I have a little familiarity with.

There was a patch to add isometric display to mana by argul i think (not fully done and not merged)

And the new qt client supports isometric rendering already.
