I'd like to invite everyone to post their pingtimes and *general* location. The information will be used to make more informed decisions with hosting the game server.
If you are not comfortable with your general location being known to the public.. Simply do not post!
You can get your pingtime by pressing F10 and selecting the 'Net' tab.
I'll start: Eastern USA 80-90ms stable, WiFi
Oh, something I've noticed: TMW performs poorly on less-than-perfect WiFi connections. If your ping times are jumpy and all over the place, try cabling in to your router directly and see if they improve. If they do you should probably start looking at debugging your WiFi for interference issues. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/21132/ch ... ss-signal/ is a good laymans guide.

I live in Ottawa, and I usually get 150-180 ping with an Ethernet cable.

from different connections in sweden my general ping time is 30-40 ms lower now than at the last host.
190ms-200ms from my home connection instead of 220-240.
