i just watched this video about the online rpg industry in china:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ho5Yxe6UVv4
summary: in china there are many people who make a living by playing MMORPGs the whole day and selling gold and items on ebay or internet shops to western gamers.
this video made me ask myself: when the process of making virtual money in an online rpg is so boring that people pay extra real money to skip it, haven't the game designers failed horribly at making this part of their game enjoyable?
