In order to help the ever growing demand of the player base without adding to much work to the dev team we started a second ManaMarket placed in Tulimshar.
Rules:
You can only have one account on either so it's MM or MM2 not both
If you want to move from MM to MM2 you can. Ask on the original Mana Market Thread
All New Accounts will be added to MM2 going forward.
We don't want to spend alot of time as ManaMarket will be eaten by TMWA soon enough.
The secret to getting all the important stuff done is doing nothing.
Sorry Wushin, i am not a fan of this idea. Manamarket was a great concept in its time, but now its antiquated and broken. Having 2 of them does not truly solve the problem. We should be looking at making Manamarket a NPC like veryape suggested, it would stop the slot issue and take it out of the hands of the GM (who only have marginal control over it)

I do understand and sympathize with everything, I would rather run with a single antiquated broken manamarket, until
the time comes that it can be fixed, than run with the concept of 2 antiquated broken manamarkets.

About storage utilization: I think that the worst part is done (implementing, yes it was rewriting the whole storage class as a python module and I admit I suck about working with network packets and spent a lot of time studying about it). Now I'm in test with the two possible functions for storage, I hope this is pleasant for everybody.
1. Storage keeping all the delisted items - this disables for once !relist but makes it easier for people to rotate their items instead of waiting and waiting for someone just !getback their stuck items. This does free a lot os slots already (by my accounts a third of MM today are items waiting for !relist/!getback)
I really expect we have mail system working someday so those items are just sent back to their owners
2. Storage as an item stack - I didn't think of it earlier but it turns out to be practical and simple. So always MM gets full, any !add done is kept in another db and stacked on storage, so every time a slot is freed, the first item registered is put on MM for listing, so we'll just have to wait instead of trying and trying again for a slot.
Maybe a third would be searching storage for an item when doing a !find (may be possible, I just thought of it while writing this). But if someone else have any other idea feel free to remind me about it.
Hope to finish it this weekend yet so we can implement it as soon as possible.

As technical lead, I have limited veto power for cases that I recognize as a security or reliability flaw. One of wushin's proposals met those criteria (it would have led to a fairly easily exploitable item/money duplication/deletion bug).
