Statistics Menu.

Got something on your mind about the project? This is the correct place for that.

Statistics Menu.

Post by King »

I was thinking about a statistics menu where you could see how much time you have been online playing, when you signed up, the number of all kinds of monsters you killed, the % of time you have spent in the different areas of the map, and many other miscellaneous stuff that sometimes you want to know but you don't have a place to see it... :)

Would be a quite interesting idea. I love digging through statistics of absolutely useless trivia (number of tiles walked, number of enemies killed with bare hands, gallons of potions drank, usage of the word "lol" in public chat and so on).

But i think it is impossible with eAthena. Although we could keep that idea for the real server (when it will ever be finished).

That would be really fun! It will be even more fun if you can show it to others :D

And not so hard to implement either: so why don't you code it for yourself? ;)

(And after you're done, you have some programming skills and can help with the rest of the project.)

I don't really understand anything of programming :P If it is that easy to code, I can try and do it, but I have to learn some basics first. :)

Trackable stats like that are great. I always love games like Time Splitters and Melee for that, what with the tracking of playtime, watermelons popped, etc. etc.

Good luck implementing the feature.

I wonder if it is possible to implement this in Ruby.
