[April Fools' Day] Account purge 2023

Hi all,

It has been decided that in order to free up precious space on our VM it will be necessary to purge inactive accounts that have not logged into the game for over 6 months. This affects all individual accounts including any alts you may have. The purge has already happened, so if you're a regular player who logs in often you probably have not noticed any change, but if you have any old alt accounts be aware that if they have not been logged in recently they may have been permanently deleted.

In addition, some of the currently available hats in the game have been deemded to be too unbalanced for fair gameplay so we are taking this opportunity to remove them. 20% of all head slot items are being removed, so you should be left with plenty.

This decision was not taken lightly but out of necessity. If you have lost any accounts or items we emphathise with your misfortune, but there is nothing we can do to help.

Also, because bank account money is stored in a different file, we'll be confiscating it (we already did, as a matter of fact) to free some memory.

Don't worry, this money will be used to fund a magnificent temple for the Pink Mouboo Church, which will be built where that's big tree in Hurnscald. None seemed to care about it, so we already hired Jack to cut it down and the work has begun.
