Its current use is for the continued development of the server and game it has always served: TMW Classic.

I second that, they're a bit too hard to notice, especially with the house made partialy of stone.BadMrBox wrote:I believe that you need to make the stairs more visible.

after a little meeting on irc with the other artists i made some changes.
whats new:
-drop shadow
-stones at the sides of the building
-slight color modification at the stones of the front wall
-modified shading of the stairs so that they stand out a bit more.
-changed the design of the glass (although i am still not entirely happy with it)

Much better I think.
A small correction to the casted shadow, it goes up too much. Lines below show how the roof corners should cast to the ground at exactly the same distance (I realize the volume as I drew it is not entirely exact though, but that's too much detail).
I've also added a light shadow to the side of the chimney to make it connect to the roof better.

Conception about woodland village
I send you proposition about the woodland village, i don't know if you have finished soon so sorry if it's too late.
About the village, an exemple :
My idea :
- People who's living here are very poor, so the village is very simple and everybody live in community.
- 10 houses for families.
- 1 big house for a sawmill and a house for loggers. with many tree trunk etc ...
- 1 isolated house for the hunter with bear skin who's drying.
- 1 isolated for a old healer (she's helping people who are sick but nobody very like her).
- 1 big house for the grocer, he buy meat and furs to the hunter, wood to the logger and vegetebale to women and sell all to everybody in the village.
- a big house in the center of the village for religion or for speaking about important problem or for protect everybody to tempest or other thing...
- a little river for water, washing and fishing...
- a big crowned tree for old people or for mystic
- a place for growing vegetable. Just one big garden for all the community
- no barrier out of wooden cause they don't pay there grounds for buildind there houses
- any dogs for security
each house have wood for the heating
We can do other village with different speciality :
- one bigger near big river for sell trunk by floating on the river (like canada), with inn and blacksmith ...
About the indoor of the house :
- chimney is best at the north of the house (easy to draw)
- always a pot on the chimney
- one room by stage, many are for very big house
- house with one stage or with two stage
- not many cupboard or dresser
- they are good in working wood so they have barrel, case and no drawing on walls or carpet on the floor
- for the hunter, animal head on the wall and weapons put near the chimney.
Are you ok with there ideas ?
I can do better drawings if it's necessary ? (not in pixart i'm too slow an not so couragous)

What's the 2x4 pixel block for in the x2 tileset? The tile right before the signs.
