There used to be a pretty awesome site called lgdb.org that was a database for games available on linux. I searched it for MMOs sometime back in 2013 (I think) and TMW was one of only a handful of results back then. Sadly that site has long since shut down ![]()

I was browsing through Tux Family wiki and somehow ended up here lol
Re: How did you come here?
I'm not exactly sure if it was Jesusalva mentioning TMW in freedroidRPG channel or if it was watching TMW stream from opensourcegaming (https://video.ploud.fr/c/osg/videos?s=1) that brought me to TMW.

Re: How did you come here?
I knew about TMW and manasource around 2013-2014, as I was trying to make my own "MMO" at the time. I had a couple emails with Thorbjørn in that time, but I didn't actually play any of the games. Fast forward to late August 2025 and I saw Thorbjørn push the 0.7.0 update to the mana client on github, so I jumped into the discord to say hi and things kind of went from there.
Kids these days will never know what it's like to trade Pokémon over a link cable.

2013.. those were the days of Tremulous for me. Sadly it died off years ago, but TMW lives on. Speaking of TMW, I cannot update my post above, but now that the org rebranding is done, it should be clarified that TMW in that context meant the organisation. OSG was streaming ML.
