Question about the snowman

What hat gives him? fancy hat? I thought that was it, but when I got all the "ingredients" I didn't get it, maybe I got a Santa hat (I already had a lot of them at that moment so I don't know if the snowman gave me another). If so, where can I find the fancy hat?

Then the snowman should drop something different, because in just some minutes I got no less than 7 santa hat from the girl of the monster points. It kills the challenge.
