What about a longhouse? The viking type.I've always liked the long spacey buildings with a big fireplace in the middle.

Viking type longhouse? That would fit perfectly into a Viking type village :).

I really like your concept art ziolive.

Thank you.

For the fireplace in the middle, we must design juste the bottom of it. We can't draw the top of the fireplace, the top/front view of the game isn't adapted, it's hiding a big part of the room..

I made tiles for some of the elements of ziolives concept drawing. They are work in progress and far from being finished. I am just posting them to check that i'm heading in the right direction.

The table:
Image(needs a shadow)
I made it tileable. The version you see here is 3x3 tiles. The minimal size is 2x2 tiles but in that case there is no central rod.

The fireplace:
Image(the pot needs some reworking, the colors need some tuning and maybe i should think about doing something about the texture)

I decided to differ a little bit from the concept art by using another shape for the chimney.

very nice. :o

For the fireplace, i think you can do it larger (x2).
And maybe you colorise the table with a color less dark than the floor, the shadow will be more efficace... but i have an horrible screen, so maybe i'm wrong...

you're not wrong, the table could use brighter or another shade of brown to stand out more...

Some assorted things i made. Most of it has nothing to do with the concept art. I just got carried away.

Very nice.

The color are still very close (...near... ?).
May be it will be easier to change the color of the floor. In any case your furniture are very beautifull.
Just two things :
- for the big table i rather suggest a bench,
- Shadow under table can help for visibility (maybe... or not)

It's a primitive hut without any strong artifical light source and with few windows. So it will be rather dark in there, even during the day.

That means that i have to keep the brightness down. Using such bright colors would look ridiculous.
