Where should I level? And other slight Q's.

I'm lvl 46, melee. Stats as follows:

Str: 48
Agi: 25
Vit: 12
Int: 11
Dex: 20
Luk: 15

Also, I have a Dagger, Cotton shirt, Fancy Hat, Miner Gloves, and Cotton Pants.

So...if anyone wants to sell me a short sword, or can tell me who drops them a lot/what item I should buy next it would be appreciated, thanks.

I can sell you a short sword, or 3 kyes to change for It in the quest.
If you wanna get the short sword by yourself you have to kill spiders that drop the kyes. You need 3 kyes to complete the quest. The spiders live in the second floor of that cave where there are black scorpions and red slimes.
After getting your short sword you should get that blue pants. You have to kill purple snakes in the bat cave of woodland. But It's very hard to get them, you'll need to kill like 1000 snakes to get 1 pair of pants.
You should buy Desert Shirt and Standard Headband in that weapon shop of Ice Village. They are much better then cotton shirt and fancy hat.

Seeing as though I can't really get past the first level because of current equipment, and it takes too long to lvl killing what I can, plus I can't really even get to the chest, I'll try and buy one.

So to anyone interested in selling a short sword:

9,000-11,000 gold, in-game name:"Duracell"

Don't level Int at all. It is a stat that is entirely unused in TMW, and most likely never will. Str is the most important for melee, since it determines how hard you hit, Vit helps you take the hits better, if you want to be a tank, Agi helps you not get hit in the first place. Check out the stats page on the wiki for more info.

STR - 1 Point = +1 Attack
AGI - 1 Point = +1% Evade
VIT - 1 Point = +13 Health
INT - 1 Point = +1 Magic Attack, +3 Mana Points
DEX - 1 Point = +1% Accuracy, 5 Points = +1 Attack
LUK - 5 Points = +1 Attack
