Using unicode instead of standard strings would solve this and many other internationalisation problems. Unfortunately this requires more than a simple search&replace as the conversion to string formats of the external libraries we are using might becomes much less trivial.

Is there someone who is up to this task? Unfortunately i have got too many unfinished tasks that I have to finish before I can start anything new.

Hm, the config file was already in write protected mode. Wouldn't that mean that I shouldn't be able to alter it at all?

One would think so, but I'm not a Windows expert.

I toggled the write protection off/on and works now anyway .
