Yeah, I like your input on the transporting thing though, it puts in some realism.

I like the pieces of clothing over job sprites.

However using guilds would be an interesting way to limit characters within a role. Once a player joins a guild they must act and dress the part. Also players that have earned gifts from a guild, by completing challenges, would want to advertise their accomplishments.

I read a lot of Discworld.
