Various Clothing & Armour

Hi everyone,

I have created a few clothing/dresses and armours as follows:

Purple Long Dress:

Gothic Long Dress:

Kimono:

Full Body Hard Leather Armour (in Blue):

Dark Metal Armour:

Golden Armour:

Just some ideas. The armours can probably be used for both male and female sprite if it is thick enough :p

However, I am not sure if it is possible to have full body clothings/armours instead of two pieces (seperated into upper body and lower body).

I especially like the kimono. But i can't understand your obsession with unisex sprites. Different sprites for different genders won't be a problem from the next version on.

I'm with Crush on the unisex thing.....put the feminism aside and relish the diversity we can have onscreen in TMW!

I wasn't obsessed. I were merely making a suggestion since in real life, unisex clothing were the way to go for uniform especially if it is given by the government.

Anyway, I have updated the post to include a glothic dress. Black gown was suggested, but it would look somewhat too dark unless excessive shading is used.

Shouldn't the Kimono be longer and more even at the bottom and the side?

Yep. Because that isn't really a traditional kimono

I suspect there was something that made it stuck up like that? I didn't design the dress/kimono, I only pixel it based on existing design I saw on some books or website.

Just because the piece of clothing is identical for both genders it doesn't mean that it looks identical on a male and a female body.

We don't want to copy reality one on one. When it comes to things that have a real life inspiration it is even preferred to differ a bit from the original because we don't want to copy existing cultures.

I have also edited the plate so that it doesn't look like "men's boobs" anymore.
