I started on this big segmented snake monster:

Parts I've planned to draw are (at least) two tail sections and a head. All in 8 directions.

Not bad at all man :D .

Perhaps you should darken it's 'stumick' a bit more?

Somehow the head feels more flat than the body and the body doesn't appear too tubular to my eye either.

Perhaps an overboard tubular example could be needed to find the golden road in the middle..?

The shading of the head isn't done yet. I'll see what I can do for the body.

Is an amazing work, the details are awesome, and the whole body looks really good.

Just the shadows are in the wrong direction, they should go in the opposite side, with a south west sun.
