Don't be afraid to let the hair cover the cheek of the character.

Seems like we got our 7 hairstyles now. Thanks to everyone who took part. I will now do the tedious work of unifying their color palettes and then create hairstyle spritesheets with correct alignment and multiple colors for them.

It looks better than the last version, but what happened to the strain of hair in the center? The previous version, although suffer the same problem, resemble the front view more closely.

I have drawn a simple hair side view based on your hair set.

Isn't the bottom a bit too flat?

Yes. That. And as Elven suggested, the bottom is still too flat as if it is a helmet.

Who is stealing your head?

I see. It looks like a worm. XD

The hair doesn't have to be 3 pixel thick. You can try to use one or two pixel in width, and transparency if neccessary.

I also do think it should curl back that much, but that depends on how one interpretates the front view.

Now that the halloween event stress is over I finally got time to take care of bringing the hairstyles ingame.

Saphy: Is it possible that you forgot the actual ponytail in the side view of the ponytail hairstyle?

That's not what they meant. What they meant was that there's a straight horizontal row of pixels at the bottom of the hair.
