After some surfing of the interwebz, I came across http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/ . This site has many sounds all recorded and licensed under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/). We may be able to make use of some of these, such as this walking sample (http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesVie ... p?id=31962).
