How can I Edit the maps on tmwserver/data ?

Jaxad, the map development article will most likely not help him in this case.

Yes, but not the problem he will most likely have.

When he has problems with the maps in /tmwserv/trunk/data/ it is most likely because the tilesets are not found. He has to copy the maps to the map folder of the client to edit them.

When he wants to open the maps in /server-data/trunk/data/ he needs to know that these maps can't be edited directly. They are created from the original client-sided maps by using a special export plugin from Tiled.

I downloaded the server from:
http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?t=1909

and there are maps in tmwserver/data I'm I right?

*UPTADE The file type is (.WLK) so I cant open them with that Mapeditor.org can I?

The .wlk maps can't be edited directly. They are created from the original client-sided maps by using a special export plugin. Get the client-sided maps and tilesets (http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?t=2617), edit the maps with Tiled and when saving them save them as "Tiled map file (.tmx)" in the client folder and as "The Mana World exporter (.wlk)" in the server folder.

So when I eddit the maps I download from the website
I save It as (.WKL) In server side and put the (TMX-File) in the client side?

Yes. Clients use the tmx files. The server uses the wkl files.

Do you paste that after everything you say? You can just add it to your signature, so it will be less annoying.
