evergreen Tree

While I was trying to create another tree for the forest tile set, I made this. But it doesn’t fit in with the forest set… however it looks fine in the snow land maps (its not finished btw)

Looking good. We need some trees for the snow sets.

Wow... that's looking pretty good so far.
Maybe some recolouring could make it fit into the forest tileset. If you want to put it in a snowy landscape there should be some snow on it. But ofcourse do it in layers so you can remove the snow easily.

Yes please, evergreen trees are very welcome.

Some trees that look like they are not gardened or have even suffered like this tree in the example picture would be appreciated too.

In some areas the trees should be completely snow covered.

The least it could do is to look like it goes into the ground (under the snow and ground) instead of just standing on top. This also applies to the other trees we have.

I might also want to create a snowdrift tile to brake up the grid…

I’m also thinking I might want to make the tree and the fern just an add on to the woodland tileset, and use the ground tiles that I made for the forest as a start for the swamp tile set…. what do you think?

I think you don't need my approval, you're doing an excellent work, go on this way. I'm eager to see your tiles in game.

The lower right seems a bit less detailed then the rest, but an amazing work anyway.

Can't see it. The imageshack server with the image seems to be down.

It looks nice, but I think snow dunes should be smoother. Even if only it were to not make it look like a recolored desert.

Don't forget to add a shadow to your tree btw.

The problem here is not the color of the snow, but rather how it sticks to the branches/needles and in what shapes.

And lastly yet again a detailed example:
