I'm sorry for the caps it's just my friend, Tarax wanted those foods in the game.
He was a bit down when he learned that I didn't suggest to Merlin to have wine and steak
in the game. He's long over it now, but I just thought it would be nice to have some in
the game. I'm not that great pixal artist or anything, but if anyone wants to make the idea
happen go ahead! (Maybe it wasn't necessary to tell the whole story )
Just a thought.

The steak doesn't look like it's thoroughly cooked. You should probably make it more of a brownish color. And add a bit more texture.

Moved to "graphics development". You could also think about how much hp these items are supposed to heal, what a fair price would be and where they could be sold or dropped.

A beer costs 175gp and heals 200hp. This means that the steak would have a better HP to GP ratio. But the more an item heals the worse should this ratio be because better healing items allow you to heal faster.

I think 175 gold pieces for beer is quite expensive I wouldn't pay 200gp for stake..

No kidding, but should we not rename gold to something like silver pieces, or coppers... I mean 175 pieces of GOLD for beer...

Slightly off topic, but...

If there is going to be a cooking profession (similar to WoW), the raw steak would be just fine as a drop off of some mobs, and then a cooked steak could be colored more brown and with grill marks on it, etc.

I think that eventually we will need more than just steak and wine, but also MANY more foods/drinks used to regenerate HP/MP. Has there been anything decided about categorizing food as HP regen and drinks as MP regen?

There won't ever be a use for MP on the current server and TMWServ won't even have MP (The magic system works without MP).

The steak looks good, ^_^.
But the wine bottle on the other hand should have some more shading, and highlights. (and the perspective is wrong too, but that was previously mentioned)

@Crush, not too sure I like that idea much that food would only give you temporary status bonuses. From what I can tell, food would not then be used for healing, and I like being able to heal with food, but I have no want to just raise an attribute for a limited amount of time.
The cooking idea in general is a good idea though.
But I guess I don't understand it too well yet, maybe it's a good idea and I just can't see it yet. =\
