Okay, I've decided to try and make a Halberd... Please comment and tell me what I can do about that blade - it just doesn't look like a Halberd...

We are trying to get rid off solid black outlines in icons and sprite sheets. Look at this topic for some additional reference:

Okay, I'll get to work removing the solid-black outline... which I was about to try anyway

Added a poll... Dawn here thinks the 1st one would be okay if the blade was downsized, but...

EDIT: Okay, something's wrong with the poll - I remove options so there's only two left, but every time I submit it it mysteriously doubles the amount of options it had previously...

Okay, a remake of the Scythe-Halberd-Axe waepon has been added... Now open for suggestions :oops:

The 2nd one has a nicer "blade" but the stick is short

Yeah, but now that I look at it it looks nothing like a halberd... more of a cross between an axe and a scythe...

Ah, if thats okay with... whoever's going to give this a C+

EDIT: Okay, added the new Halberd, anyone got any ideas on how I can improve my Lochaber and my Halberd? :roll:

The metal parts of the weapons are looking really nice!
The wood (bamboo?) handles on the other hand, look...not right. Perhaps it's the shading? Or maybe it's the ends stopping so abruptly?

I'll make it brown, then... I was originally going to use brown, but somehow I used orange, yellow and red... :?

Okay, I know this topic is nearly 3 weeks old, but I didn't want to see my work come to naught, so...
