Female character sits with legs spread apart?
Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
Like this?
It still looks strange.

Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
It's still too short.
Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
According to Vitruvius (70 B.C. - 15 B.C.) a leg is 33% longer than a torso. But the TMW characters are not really following the vitruvian proportions.

Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
The right leg is too short compared to the left one, in my opinion.
It looks like this now '-/\ but should be more like this '--/\.
(The /\ is the left leg and the ' is the right foot.)

Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
I agree, the right leg is much too short if it is stretched out.
Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
That is way too long. The "length" of the right leg depends on the perspective of the character:Vink wrote:The right leg is too short compared to the left one, in my opinion.

Aren't we are using the center perspective?
Anyway, the feet is too small. How about this?
Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
Much better with the improved feet, and you're probably right about the length, but it still looks like the right leg is slightly shorter, because the left knee seems to be higher than in the drawings you compared it with. But I think it works, now.
Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
Thanks. I am starting on the other views now. This is the other side view:
It looks a little funny, but I couldn't pinpoint it.
I also fixed the shading on front view:
It also seems like the perspective of the previous side view is off:
Would this be better?

Re: Female character sits with legs spread apart?
So are they good enough? If they look fine, I will port the changes to the male sprite as well.

It isn't perfect, but it would be really helpful if someone can tell me what is wrong. Is the legs/hands too long/short, too thin/thick/ too small/big? angle incorrect? wrong perspective? shading problem? You name it.
