I'd prefer them to have different colors and not to blend everything into the environment.
I tend to go with 3 layers of standing out (personal philosophy):
1. ground level: should have the dullest colors (no outlines everything blends into each other)
2. objects level: stands out from the ground level (with more contrast and maybe even a light outline)
3. player and dropped item level: stands out the most (heavily saturated with dark outlines)
I believe this helps create the illusion of depth

It looks nice Len, It would be a great addition to the temple entrance, by the way that texture is very useful, in fact we can use it in different places like this Shrine...

Well looks fine to me, and it just depends on us if we consider it good or not for TMW, for now there is no final word on it,

* Crush said the type of building didn't fit
* Elven said we shouldn't discard the idea yet

So why not ? I would say lets do it and see how it looks first, then we can compare or decide...

P.D. Anyways it looks better than some of the already existing walls on the game

wouldn’t see a problem keeping the pillar
But we can’t have the entire building in isometric view, can we?!

I agree

I know this is to "clean cut". But I do think it's a nice motive to work with to give the desert a real eastern atmosphere.

The question is still valid.

Good, yet unfinished stuff, tends to disappear here :(

Was this a joke?

This thread didnt really turn out to be helpful, since no one revived a forgotten project yet.
