[FND] Desert Hat

Post by kr0n05931 »

I got this idea from seeing a picture of a Saudi Arabian man. I first applied it to my desert man NPC and I thought about making it into a hat. What do you think? Please leave feedback, just say the word and I will edit him or start coding the hat.

Great idea, IMO.

How about adding a walk animation?

I’d rather prefer if beards are part of the hair styles, so beards can be used with other equipment as well. That, or beards be an own category besides the hair styles.

On (thread) topic, I very much like this hat. It’s more like what I wear IRL (shawls), so I’ll gladly use it in-game! :D

...and here are the requested animations.

Please leave feedback on anything that needs to be changed or modified. Also, say the word and I'll post the spritesheet up :)

Shouldn't it flap on alternating sides instead of flapping symmetrically like now?

Light Source Fixed. BTW, what did you mean when you said "flapping symmetrically"? I thought it was pretty asymmetrical.

If your talking about the rear facing animation your wrong. Both sides will move and flap at the same time. To have the movement your talking about the head would ether be turning or swaying from side to side. I think the animation is very subtle and well done. I think this should be put in game all ready.
