BBS Style Update?

Post by krismichael »

First, hi guys. It's been a while.

I was thinking maybe the forum (phpBB) needs a style update?

Take a look at this style: http://www.phpbb.com/styles/forum/index.php?style=219

What do you guys think?

If you are interested (I'm not sure who's managing the website these days since Alex seems to be missing in action) you can download the style here:

It's called Lifecod and can be downloaded here: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?cat=12
It's not my fault I'm new here! :)

Hmm I think I prefer this default theme, heh. Especially because it has so much better contrast and also because if we're going to give the forum a sense of identity, I'd prefer like Elven said to have it match the website instead of choosing an off-the-shelf style.

Now that I think about it, I agree that we should try to get the website and forum to match. I was just tired of looking at the default phpBB style. :)

What is the status with the website? Is anyone actively working on anything on it?

I ask because that might be a good place for my to jump back in.
