(perhaps with a little more alpha-ing on the sides.)

It's far more metal-like than my ring. Is it possible to make it recolourable? Or do you want this to be some kind of "special" ring?

EJlol,

it is supposed to be a special ring-- but it would still be possible to make it recolourable. The tricky part is to get the dyeing gradient right, then.

Using two dye colors is always a possibility, if needed.

I think that the wedding rings deserve a special design and thus shouldn't be recolorations of other rings with more mundane functions.

We can always design other ring item icons with recolorisation in mind from the beginning to use them for rings which are supposed to be crafted. It's just a 32x32 item icon, after all. Those can be made quickly.

Hi,

here is what it looks like after making it a little slimmer and a just a little more alpha:

Is that good enough?

Bankai,

that's what makes it look metal-ish. ;-)
Polished metal reflects light very directly and very completely (modulo the colours it filters out), so you get a high brightness in direct reflection and comparatively little ambient brightness. Note that the inner highlight is pointing directly towards the light source.

Just to expand on what Fate is saying all surfaces no mater what they are made of reflect light. Metal being so reflective tends to pick up and show this reflected light more then other materials.

Well, since people have to ask, is it made properly?
